Good Trading Day

I've pretty much closed my trading session for today. Basically, all the previous (see my last post) predictions came true. I ended up with a +110 pips in total. That's not too bad for a noob eh? ;)

I'm anticipating EU & GU to go further up due to continuous bad market news for the US. Let's see the market reactions and if we can advantage from the following predictions:

- EU, set a Stop Order at 1.3174 with a 1.3204 Target
- GU, set a Stop Order at 1.9621 with a 1.9651 Target

Today's Prediction, 15 February 2007

My yesterday's trading didn't go very well due to my meeting wif a client. But, I did make a +33 pips on EU (LONG). Let's see what we have for today:

GJ: Long 237.93. However, there's a possibility that it might go the other way (down) to 233.92. I entered a position at 235.93 and unintentionally closed it with a +4 pips. What the heck.

EU: Long 1.3163

GU: Long 1.9677
I entered a position at 1.9629. My Target is 1.9670

+10 Long on EU closed at 1.3062

I managed to get +10. Like I said, it could go up to 1.3072. But, I'm comfy with +10, plus I just got back from a meeting & I need to analyze the trend & signals. Damn it.

Now, let's wait for the next news realease (US). I predict, if EU crosses 1.3100, it could go down to 1.2991. If it doesn't, however, it would probably go down to 1.3031. Whichever, I intend to make some pips ;)

-10 on EU (Short), -20 on GJ (Short)

I went out for a meeting, and I lost. EU didn't go low enough, and GJ was climbing up to reach my Stop-L at 236.27. It's a bit too late now to open a LONG on EU, but I did it anyway at 1.3052, hoping to gain +10 pips or more. My new Target is 1.3062, and Stop-L at 1.3042. It could go up to 1.3072. We'll see.

S: 1.3008/1.2971/1.2941

+10 Pips on EU

My LONG position on EU just closed at 1.3051. So, I gained +10 pips ;)

-30 Pips on GJ, Long on EU

GJ went up and is still going up. It hit my Stop-L and so I lost 30 pips. The big spread (9 pips) is one of the reasons why my position closed rapidly. However, I opened another SHORT position at 236.07, with a 235.67 Target (40 pips). Let's see if it would still go down ;)

In addition, I also opened a LONG position on EU at 1.3041 with a 1.3031 Stop-L. I'm expecting EU to go up but not more than 1.3051.

Short on GJ

I'm expecting GJ to go down pretty soon. I've opened a SHORT position at 235.88 with a 235.68 Target and 235.88 Stop-L. That'd be 20 pips in total if my prediction is correct, and -30 pips if otherwise.

Forex Blog

This is my new attempt at publishing another blog. This time it shall be on Forex. I will post my strategies, my mistakes, signals etc. to share with others who are interested. Despite my hectic schedule, I hope to update this site frequently. So, stay tuned.
